Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient health system concerned with restoring balance within the body when it has been lost through illness, injury, or lifestyle demands. Chinese Medicine is validated both by thousands of years of clinical practice, and a growing body of scientific research supporting its application, particularly in the areas of chronic pain management, migraines and headaches, and seasonal or allergic rhinitis (hay fever).

While we work to alleviate your symptoms, your Chinese Medicine practitioner will try and uncover the root cause of your problem.  Your symptoms – headaches, PMS, insomnia etc. – are just the signposts that lead us to what is really going on inside the body.

Our aim is to tailor treatment specifically for you, drawing on a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, lifestyle and diet advice to resolve issues over the long term, allowing you to feel and function at your very best.

If you’re wondering if Chinese medicine can help you, please contact us to arrange a time to speak with one of our practitioners, or to book an appointment. Appointments can also be made online using the link at the top of the page.

Australian Chinese Medicine practitioners are nationally registered and regulated healthcare professionals and undertake continuing education on a yearly basis. They are governed by the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia (CMRBA) and are members of the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA). All ingredients used in herbal prescriptions have undergone rigorous testing for quality and are approved by the Australian TGA.
